Overview

The hanging-type heptafluoropropane (FM-200) gas fire extinguishing device (temperature-sensitive type) consists of an extinguishing agent storage cylinder, a temperature-sensitive release component, a hanging bracket, a pressure gauge, and other parts. It does not require the installation of agent delivery piping, a dedicated cylinder storage room, or linkage with a fire alarm system. It can be installed via ceiling or wall mounting.

When a fire occurs, the temperature-sensitive glass bulb bursts due to heat, triggering the release component to activate and directly discharge the extinguishing agent into the protected area. Since there is no pipeline loss, the extinguishing process is faster and more efficient.

Extinguishing Principle

When a fire breaks out in the protected area, the temperature-sensitive glass bulb on the hanging-type heptafluoropropane gas fire extinguishing device expands and bursts due to heat. This action opens the valve and releases the extinguishing agent to suppress the fire.
