Overview

The fire detection tube fire suppression system, also known as the fire probe tube suppression system, detection tube suppression system, or tube-type automatic fire suppression system, consists of a fire suppressant cylinder, a fire detection tube, and a signal feedback device. Our company produces temperature-sensitive self-activating fire suppression systems that use heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea) or carbon dioxide (CO₂) as the extinguishing agent. These systems do not require an external power source, dedicated fire detectors, complex equipment, or piping. They integrate fire detection and suppression into a single unit, making them cost-effective, structurally simple, and highly reliable. The system employs a flexible and bendable fire detection tube as the fire detection component, which also serves as the suppressant delivery and discharge pipeline. This feature allows easy installation near potential fire hazards, ensuring high fire-extinguishing efficiency.

Fire Suppression Principle

The fire detection tube is connected to the extinguishing agent container via a container valve and is fixed above the most likely fire source area. When a fire occurs, the detection tube softens and ruptures at the point of highest heat exposure. The pressure drop inside the tube triggers the container valve, causing the fire suppressant to be released through the rupture hole to extinguish the fire.

Features of the Fire Suppression System

● Integrated fire detection and suppression: Fast response time, point-to-point suppression, extinguishes fires in their early stages, effectively reducing potential economic losses.

● No power source required: Unaffected by vibration or impact, ensuring reliable operation. It is not influenced by oil, dust, or smoke, preventing malfunction or false alarms. Additionally, it is resistant to electromagnetic interference, humidity, and airborne particles, making it safer for protecting electronic equipment.

● Flexible fire detection tube: The tube can be installed in any orientation, allowing it to reach tight and complex flammable spaces where conventional fire suppression systems may be ineffective.

● Proximity to the fire source: Ensures high suppression efficiency with a low cost.

● Lower suppressant consumption: Uses less extinguishing agent compared to traditional systems, making it more environmentally friendly and safer for personnel.

● Ideal for unattended areas: Provides targeted protection for critical equipment and locations where constant monitoring is impractical.

● Simple design and easy installation: Does not require a separate cylinder storage room, saving valuable space for users.
