Overview

The FM-200 fire extinguishing system consists of the bottle rack, fire extinguisher bottle group, container valve, metal hose, check valve (fire extinguishing agent pipeline), collection pipe, safety release device, selection valve, signal feedback device, fire extinguishing agent delivery pipeline, nozzle, driving gas bottle group, electromagnetic driving device, driving gas pipeline, and check valve (driving gas pipeline), among other components.

Depending on the requirements of different application scenarios, the system can be configured as a standalone unit system or a combined distribution system. It uses a total flooding fire extinguishing method to protect single or multiple protection areas. The system is technologically advanced, highly efficient in fire extinguishing, and easy to maintain.

In a network-type FM-200 fire extinguishing system, the gas fire extinguishing agent storage bottles are usually placed in a dedicated cylinder room and connected by a pipeline network. In the event of a fire, the fire extinguishing agent is transported from the cylinder room to the protected area that requires extinguishing, where it is discharged through the nozzles to put out the fire. This system is the preferred choice for large buildings with multi-zone protection and can protect up to eight zones simultaneously.
Fire Extinguishing Principle

When the fire extinguishing system is in an automatic control state, if a fire occurs in the protected area, the fire detector sends a fire signal. The alarm controller immediately activates the audible and visual alarm signals. The gas fire extinguishing controller receives two independent fire alarm signals and issues a linkage command to shut down the linked devices. After a 30-second delay, it issues the fire extinguishing command, opening the corresponding solenoid valve for the protected area to release the gas. The gas is then activated through the start-up pipeline, opening the corresponding selection valve and container valve to release the extinguishing agent and perform fire suppression.

Scope of application:
Suitable for extinguishing the following types of fires:

● Electrical fires

● Liquid fires or fires involving meltable solid materials

● Surface fires of solid materials

Gas fires (only if the gas supply can be shut off before extinguishing)

Suitable for protecting enclosed spaces, typical applications include:

● Hazardous areas with explosion risks from gases or flammable liquids

● Libraries, archives, document storage, and cultural heritage repositories

● Oil-immersed transformers, oil-filled switchgear distribution rooms, and backup generator rooms

● Telecommunication rooms and computer data centers
