The Cabinet-Type HFC-227ea Gas Fire Suppression System, also known as a pre-engineered suppression unit, integrates the agent storage cylinder, piping, nozzles, signal feedback components, and actuation devices into a compact, pre-assembled system.
The system produced by our company is designed for stand-alone total flooding applications, where one or multiple cabinet-type units protect a single enclosed hazard zone. The system parameters—such as storage volume, agent fill weight, and activation method—can be customized based on project requirements.
This unit typically operates in conjunction with an automatic fire detection and suppression control panel, providing integrated fire detection, automatic alarm signaling, and fire extinguishing functions for the protected area.
Extinguishing Principle
Once installed, the cabinet-type system remains in standby mode, ready for automatic operation. When a fire occurs within the protected area, fire detectors such as smoke and heat sensors transmit alarm signals to the gas suppression control panel.
The control panel then initiates system interlocks and issues audible and visual alarms. After a configurable delay of 0–30 seconds (adjustable as needed), a start signal is sent to actuate the cylinder valve. The HFC-227ea agent is then discharged through the connecting pipework and nozzles into the protected zone, achieving rapid fire suppression.
Scope of application:
Suitable for extinguishing the following types of fires:

● Liquid fires or fires involving meltable solid materials
● Surface fires of solid materials
Gas fires (only if the gas supply can be shut off before extinguishing)
Suitable for protecting enclosed spaces, typical applications include:
● Hazardous areas with explosion risks from gases or flammable liquids
● Libraries, archives, document storage, and cultural heritage repositories
● Oil-immersed transformers, oil-filled switchgear distribution rooms, and backup generator rooms
● Telecommunication rooms and computer data centers
